best work pant
I was surprised by the weight and drape of the fabric, it’s lovely. I like the elastic waist but to each their own!

Diaper butt
The fabric drapes nicely and from the front these were very cute, and plenty long for my legs. Then I turned around and laughed out loud! This wonderful fabric is much too thick to be gathered up with a wide elastic waistband. It literally creates a bubble over your rear end and makes it look like you're wearing a diaper.
They are really great pants otherwise! But they should have been made with a traditional waistband all around.

Potential, but a miss
Pros: the color is gorgeous, material is substantial quality, way the pants hinged through the hips and legs looked very classy
Cons: the elastic waistband ruined the clean elegant look. Since the material is so substantial it makes the bunching in the elastic waistband very heavy, it won’t lay flat. I have a longer toro, so maybe it would work for someone with a shorter torso, but it was a no for me once I turned to the side.

Front great--backside, nope
The photo is true--the scrunching/pleating from the elastic in the back is correct and not classy. This looks like something one would find at a discount store for far less. The color is also true--the brown is a mocha/milk chocolate. I even hung these up in the closet thinking maybe I could forgive the elastic/back view. But they are just cheap-looking from the rear. Going back.

Fabric pils
I am so disappointed that these slacks pilled in trunk/groin. I added a star because Nordstrom accepted the return even though they were altered. I only wore 3 times.😟

the elastic waistband looks cheap
Perfect fit, clean look in the front, the backside is ruined by the elastic scrunch. So disappointing. Luckily Open Edit has a similar silhouette with similar colors on the anniversary sale, same price point. Nordys you let me down on this one.

Too wide to be flattering
Great quality, great length and I love the elastic back. But they are just too wide for me.

Had to pass.
I wanted to like these pants, but they run very large and did not look as flattering as I had hoped. Returned.
