The Knotted Crossbody Bag

The leather is everything leather should be! Thick, that beautiful leather smell... heaven. I also loved how there isn't any hard wear on this bag, besides to zipper of course. However, I did return it because I found the functional aspect of the design annoying. Half of the storage space is located outside of the bag, in these two pockets, which I wouldn't use. Also the zip pouch is more two dimensional than three dimensional, and that slimness may be part of the allure for some, but I prefer a bag that has at least some width to it (honestly, the description should say say 0'' for width). In lieu of the outside pockets I would have preferred some extra width in the zippered pouch. I wanted a bag to put my belonging in, not wedge them in.

This bag is exactly what I was looking for. I had a leather bag that was almost the same exact size that I had worn to death and it was time for a replacement. Though other reviewers don't like the middle seam that splits the front pouch in 2 I find it to be really functional in keeping things organized. I throw my phone in one side (iPhone 12 Pro with a case and pop socket fits nicely and upright, slips in and out easily) and then in the other is usually where I keep my face mask and/or my sunglasses so they're not all knocking into each other with that seam. In the zipped portion I can throw in a small bifold wallet, lip balm, travel size anti-bacterial gel, my keys, and space for a bit more. Only knocked off a star because the leather is very nice looking and soft, but seems to get this dusty look a lot from rubbing against things. Wipes away, but I wonder about the longevity of this bag because of that.

I have been downsizing my purses since I retired from needing to carry everything with me for a 12 hour day away from home. I only need essentials --a phone, which fits in a case that is a wallet, keys, and lastly a backup mask. This is a perfect size and it is made of good quality leather.

Great bag to carry most of the essentials. I did not like the back sleeve that is stitched to divide the sleeve which means that you have to be careful when putting stuff in the sleeve. I had to put my phone upright if I wanted to place it there for easy access. Instead of the odd stitching splitting the back sleeve and making it odd to shove things in, a zipper or nothing at all would have been fine. I returned the bag.

This is a the perfect size for when you need to run out the door to do errands. The outside pockets are perfect for my iPhone 12 Pro (with popup wallet) and my reading glasses, since those are the things I use most often. Plus there’s more room in the main compartment for small wallet, keys, or fitting a small sunglass case. This is what I needed!
