Comfortable and stylish
These are my 7th Margaux shoes. In each case they have been well made and very comfortable. These MaryJane Heels look great and feel great right out of the box.

Painful!
1. I purchased wide and it was nowhere near wide enough. There is a strong market for toe boxes that dont squeeze toes. You’re missing it. 2. I love the patent, but it is way to hard and cuts into the foot - of the patent cannot be made less rigid (I believe it can), then maybe also make it in Napa leather or suede. 3. This is my constant plea- 2. 5 inches is too high. Most people (not all, of course) who are buying block heels, padded forefoot and Mary Jane’s are seeking some level of comfort. Same with your pumps. Limit them to 2 inches. If you have foot issues, that 1/2 inch makes the difference between wearable and not.

Lovely shoe but fit is off
Beautiful shoe, however, the fit is off. It is too big in the heel and really not that comfortable. It needs more padding I think. Perhaps if the heel didn’t slip, it might have felt better.

Lovely Classic Shoe
I love the versatility of patent leather, and think this is a classic shoe which will not go out of style. I usually wear a 40 regular, but was glad I sized up to a 40 wide in this shoe. The only reason I am not giving the shoe a five is that it would be better for me if the leather at the front was a bit higher; it cuts in a slightly uncomfortable place for my foot.

Runs narrow and gave me blisters
A really classy pair of Mary Jane with really good leather quality. However, the wide width I ordered feels at most a stabdard width in other brands, which kind of defeats the purpose of ordering from this brand. I also got blisters on my heels. I’m hoping they’ll break in eventually.

Beautiful shoe, but…. .
These are gorgeous shoes and actually came in a narrow width (thank you from the bottom of my heart for carrying any narrows) so I paid more than I have for any other shoe in all of my 71 years with high hopes it would fit my foot, but alas, the heels are too wide. Even with the strap, they slide up and down, so I had to return them. Same with some equally gorgeous silver demi-janes. I do have some of the black suede city sandals that fit fine and I love them, hence venturing out on trying some different styles. I can get by wearing a 9 1/2 N depending on the shoe, but my real size is 9 1/2 slim or AAA in the vernacular of a bygone era. I can limp along with Munro Americans and Vanelis, but oh for the days of Andrew Gellars and DeLiso Debs. Anyway, thanks for listening to me. And you do make beautiful shoes!
