I would not recommend
I love all La Mer products, however, I wish I had read more of the reviews before purchasing this product. It did not provide moisture, but created dry spots and caused my face to break out. I do not suggest purchasing this product.

surprisingly great
I hate the smell of this and all La Mer products. I hate the face cream. Their makeup broke me out. But I randomly received a sample of this and it solved a huge problem for me. I get a lot of peeling/dryness with retinol use. My derm calls it the “skin beard.” This happens periodically if I haven’t been consistent in use or if I change strength or when the weather changes. This thin moisturizer completely solved the issue. I see the start of the peeling. I put this on. It’s done. Even with continued use of retinol. I don’t know why it works, but it does. It’s expensive, but it takes very little.

I received a sample of this big enough for me to use it for three days in a row. Man oh man oh man, the stuff is it the truth! My skin is very finicky and doesn’t like much lotion, because I can break out or get irritated easily. All my friends were commenting about how great my skin looked. It felt amazing and looked amazing. So now I need to work an overtime shift so I can afford to buy this lol

Great addition to skincare regimen
I tried numerous moisturizers and always return to LaMer. I was intrigued by this new product so added it to my daily regimen. Love it - lightweight but gives added moisture to the skin. It can be used as a morning moisturizer during more humid weather. Then I use LaMer in the evening. I added it to my regime when the summer is hot and dry and in the winter with the dry heat in the house. Great price point since only a little goes a long way. Another favorite LaMer product

Worth every penny!!!
I would gladly give this a million stars! Received a sample with a Nordstrom Beauty purchase and immediately, skin felt so nourished and CALM. Like really calm. I hadn't made it more than a few blocks from the store, turned around, called my La Mer SA (who is amazing!) and came back into the store to purchase!! I've added this to my daily La Mer routine at least twice a day. Surprised I haven't found this emulsion until now - next to the moisture cream this is my favorite!
