The Half-Pipe Frayed High Waist Ankle Barrel Jeans

I took a chance on these and I’m so glad I did! I’m a size 10-12 so I wasn’t sure how flattering a barrel leg would be but they are adorable. I took my normal size in Mother jeans - I’m usually a 32 (sometimes 31). The length is a little long for me, as I normally take petite sizes in denim. The hem will be easy enough to fold up a little more and tack back down though.

I was a little perplexed by all of the positive reviews and then went to another retailer's site and was kind of relieved. The waist feels small to me and didn't have the same fit and feel as my other 5 pairs of Mother. I LOVE this brand. For the most part, Mother always works for me but this pair didn't. For reference, I am 5'9" and athletic build.

I wanted to try a barrel jean but haven’t had any luck - they all just look weird on me. But these Half Pipe Frayed Barrel Crop are perfection! I think it’s because they aren’t fully a barrel leg… they’re a milder version. I love the frayed crop cuffs and the high rise. I dress these up and down. Great jeans!
