The Greta Fisherman Sandal

Somewhat disappointed. As I suspected, the back of the sandal cuts into my heel. Will have to wear with socks. So not bad shoes, but not great sandals if can’t be worn without socks.

I where size 9.5 or 10, read previous reviews and purchased these beautifully crafted sandals in size 9. I have thin feet so the width was fine, but the length was still way over-sized. My own fault - I couldn't quite believe how oversized they were, walked around the house, took off tags etc. By the time I realized I was actually seeing the tops of my hard-to-fit toes in the lattice work, I had managed to make enough of a scuff mark to make them un-returnable. "Crafted" is the operative word - these sandals are gorgeous!! But not for me and they will go in a contribution bag to Savers for someone lucky to find them. Question is: how did an elegant site like Madewell mis-label sizes so badly??

I loved the look of these shoes and based on other reviews ordered 2 sizes to try to get the right fit. However, it wouldn't have mattered how they fit length wise as the base of the shoe was so narrow my foot was spilling over the sides (and i have regular width feet). So sad these didn't fit as the suede is very soft and the style is cute.

I am a 7. I bought a 6.5 and it was massive. I returned for a 6. It’s still way too big. I may try a 5.5 or just give up at this point. I am truly a 7 in absolutely every shoe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Keeping with my experience of suede shoes, this fisherman sandal is soft. flexible, great color, and verycomfortable!. I adjusted the buckle to my preference; the elastic back allows one to pull it onand slide it off. I've tried many sandals of this type. This is one I shall keep.
