Curator Crepe Oversize Trench Coat

I love this. I love the look of a trench coat on other women but every trench I have purchased didn't feel like me. This one is it. I don't feel like a woman trying to wear a trench coat. It is not heavy but has a bit of weight to it that gives good drape. It is slightly oversized but doesn't feel like I borrowed it from some guy. It is not stiff, its soft and moves with you.

I love the quality and color of this trench coat. Unfortunately, the sizing overwhelmed my petite frame. I purchased my usual size medium, but would need an extra small. Size down 1-2 sizes if possible. 5’4 140lbs

I am so glad I purchased this trench coat. It’s elegant, soft and flowy. It’s meant to be oversized. I usually take an L/XL. Bought in Large and returned for a medium.

I am 5’8” tall with a 38C bust and a size 14 hourglass figure. I ordered this trench coat in the grey color in Medium. This classic style of a double-breasted trench is elevated by the choice of a comfortable heavier-weight knit instead of the usual stiff cotton that wrinkles so easily. I love the choice of a dark grey neutral instead of the classic yellow-beige trenches that are not flattering on me. This style runs large, so I did size down one size and still had a comfortable, relaxed fit for outerwear. Length of sleeves and garment is as shown online. Highly recommend.

While leary of the “crepe material”, it’s fine, smooth. The coat drapes beautifully, but I’d already fallen in love with it just taking from the box. Love the color and tortoise buttons. HOWEVER, I should have ordered the small (or even extra small) instead of the medium. I’m 5’2”, and the coat almost reaches my feet. However, it’s the width in the shoulders and all around that made it impossible for me to wear. It would have been the perfect all-weather coats had it not over-powered me. NOTE: I called Nordstrom’s to begin the return and learned the sale price was invalid for an exchange. Meaning the price jumped $70. I was disappointed, but felt $200 for this coat was too much. Size down!

This coat is so huge that I will have to return it... I am 5'2 and 100 lbs, but this coat drapes past my ankles and could wrap around me three times. I like it, but has to go back. The crepe fabric is terrific but it isn't lined, so appears cheaper than expected.
