Scar / Skin Smoother Miracle
This is truly a miracle serum! I put it the test on TWO fresh surgery scars after hearing about the story behind LaMer, how it was created by a scientist who was burned and developed LaMer for his scarring; this serum was his miracle broth! I had vein ligation on both legs and my inner groin areas had about a 4 inch nasty incision scar; I was advised to use Medeema. By my Dr. I decided to put this serum to the test and was given a couple samples by my Nordstroms sales person. I started using Lamer on 1/2 of my scar and Mederma on the other 1/2 (after it healed for about 2 weeks). I kid you not- after a week of applying a small amount over 1/2 of the scar twice a day I noticed that the scar was beginning to soften and the skin was smoothing over, while my incision on the Mederma 1/2 showed no change. After the 2nd week there was a dramatic change between the two and I stopped using the Mederma! My scar is literally non existent after several months of use (and yes I went back to buy the large bottle). My son had Hip Dysplasia and had about a 10 inch incision. I used it on him after about 2 weeks post surgery. At his 4 week check up his Dr asked me what I was using on his scar, she was amazed at how good it looked already- she literally could t believe it! Today, 6 years later, you can only see a hairline soft scar, nothing like you would expect from the surgery he had! I use this nightly and I LOVE IT! My skin is so soft and smooth, I’m 45 and always get compliments on my skin (I also use La Mer moisturizer)! I’ve referred many people to this product who’ve asked what I use and they are all addicted!

LaMer very recently changed the formulation of their Concentrate. Alcohol was added. The formula is NOT improved......in fact it’s no where near as moisturizing as the old formulation. La Mer is marketing this new formula as an improvement to strengthen your skin. I have no idea how the addition of alcohol and it’s drying side effects can strengthen your skin. I noticed the drying side effects by the third day.
Extremely disappointed as I’ve used this product for about 30.....yes, 30 years. Maybe they figure the drying side effects will make consumers purchase more of their other products?lol. Bring back the old formulation La Mer

Its brightness to my skin is for real
I got the concentrate as a sample. After three days, I found this to be the missing piece to my beauty care products for my matured skin (60 +), spoiled mostly by age/sun pigmentation on top of holes made by terrible acne scars of my young age. The morning after the first night's treatment, I could see a noticeable difference to skin, there was a brightness that I never saw before with using any product for all my life. After three days, I decided to invest in the 1 oz size, for not only were those hyper-pigmented areas finally beginning to show signs of fading, but that all-day brightness of my skin is for real – not just a morning after thing!

An Absolute Must Have!
I’m on my second bottle of this stuff. It is probably my favorite part of my night time skin routine. It’s so smoothing and it makes your skin feel amazing. I absolutely believe it is part of the reason my skin is brighter. I love love love it. And I will continue to buy it again and again. I promise you, this little guy is a winner!!!!

Worth it but doesn’t last long
This is the best moisturizing and game changing product but it is very difficult to get all of the product out of the bottle and very expensive . With that said it doesn’t last long if you use both day and night. Then there’s the desperate trying to get every bit out of the poorly designed bottle. I still buy it though as nothing compares !

Ask for the " Concentrate wand" when you purchase
It does miracle to my acne scar. I see some other reviewers mention that they can't get all the product due to the poor design. I suggest to go ask for the La Mer "concentrate wand" with your SA. It is a very long scoop that they offer at La Mer counter and it could help swab all the product out.
