The Bookie Flood Bootcut Corduroy Jeans

Purchased on sale. Reviews elsewhere stated these ran small. So I sized up from my usual sz 28 in Mother to a 29. They are snug in waist, rise is a little short, but shld not be since 'Details' say 10" rise which usually will sit at my navel area. Crotch area feels short & snug too. Length is cropped on my 5' 3" build. I guess that's abt the only thing that works! I have found that Mother has inconsistent sizing & just a bit tired of it. Not sizing up to a 30, as I am not a sz 30. Returning!

I took a chance with these as an online purchase, based on the Nordstrom video review. So, so glad I did! These are a truly beautiful, rich deep royal blue — so not too bright — and feel luxurious to the touch. While corduroy, it’s such a fine cut that it barely registers as that to the look or touch. And wow: Are these pants comfortable when on! I paid a little more than I wanted but decided they were *definitely* worth the splurge! Paired with Nic+Zoe’s Harvest Inkatha Pure Cotton Crewneck sweater that has just a small dash of the same blue? It’s a perfect pairing, although a beautiful black blouse could look very nice, too. (Nordstrom’s stylist at Oakbrook was very helpful :) For reference: I’m a petite 5’3”, chose size 26 there was no need for alterations in their length. Also, very comfortable on for my 110 lb frame.
