Amaayah Knee High Boot (Women)

These boots were haunting me, but based on limited reviews, I didn’t expect them to fit my 18” calves at all. So imagine my surprise when they did! Unfortunately, the leather and elastic gusset on these boots are soooo stiff, and the zipper is stiff and miserable to zip up. I put them on twice to try to break them in, and it was a 10 minute journey involving a shoe horn, many different leg positions, several breaks, bruised fingers, and a cocktail. They are beautiful and the footbed is so comfortable, and the toe box is nice and roomy, but they are just too much of an ordeal to put on for me.

I love Dr. Marten's and most of the time they fit really well; however, these tall boots for some reason are very very difficult to get on my feet. My size is an 8, but that's not the problem. It is my very high arch that makes it difficult. I can get then on with stockings and a long "tall boot" shoe horn, but it is a chore. Now, docs are known for stretching out significantly, so I'm hoping the more I wear them, the easier they will be to get on. If you have normal feet without insanely high arches, you'll probably love them. They are insanely cute and durable. I love them with skirts and leather shorts with cool design tights or fishnets!

This is a gorgeous boot (in Butterscot) that would last a lifetime...if I could get my feet into them. I've been cursed with high arches and high insteps. No matter how hard I tried I just couldn't get them on. I'm certain they are not too small. Docs always fit large. Sadly, I'll be returning them.

I received these and they are very nice. I wear a 7.5-8 in flats, but the 7 fit okay. My toes are at the end and a 7.5 would be too big. My main issue is the zipper. It zipped up fine without my foot in there. When I tried to zip up when foot inserted, it was sticking. It was sticking at the ankle area. Not even my calve area. After fighting with it, it finally zipped up. I kept trying it a few times and it worked. I have a feeling, Nordstrom will need to fix it after a few wears. Beware of the zipper. I will need to wear thin socks. If you have wide calves, these will not fit. I have thin legs and these were tight. Cute though.
