Elegant and Effective
There's really not much that can be added to all the other reviews so I'll just sum it up. This is a cosmetically elegant cream that absorbs into the skin quickly and leaves behind a silky smooth finish that is not sticky or tacky. It contains all the healing, soothing, and moisturizing benefits that you'd expect from La Mer and, like the face cream, you need less of this luxurious body cream than you do of the cheaper alternatives out there. I'm 69 and would have all the dryness and loss of elasticity you'd expect a woman to have at that age except I don't! Why? Because I use La Mer body cream after bathing every day. This is a splurge, yes, but if you can afford to use it regularly without hoarding, then definitely buy this larger size. You'll find that nothing else leaves your skin feeling as soft and smooth.

Never got the products Delivery options are none existent UPS driver couldn’t find my girlfriend on the apartment directory No other UPS driver over last 5 years has had this issue Who knows where the items are and the redelivered items

Pampering - True Skin Treatment!
If at all possible, get a small sample of this fabulous body cream and you will fall in love!
I've tried so many body creams -- from the moderately priced to other luxury brands -- and La Mer always stands head and shoulders above the rest. It is an investment, something I splurge on only once every other year. I've used it for over 10 years. I'm now in my mid fifties and no other cream performs so well.
I use it during the drying winter months and the summer months, when my skin really needs a true treatment cream. This body cream leaves lasting affects: firmer, more youthful-looking skin that retains moisture, even if I use it every other day! This is not a thick greasy cream that sits on the surface of your skin -- it sinks in and works wonders.
This cream stays fresh and potent, even down to the last dregs at the end of the second year when I'm ready to buy a new jar. It's a large jar, one that will last! And you only need a small amount.
The wonderful subtle fragrance, which is very similar to "The Vert" (Green Tea) by Bulgari, stays true, as well as the luxurious texture and performance!

What I've been looking for
I have severe dyshidrotic eczema on my hands and feet, and even though I have prescriptions for it, my skin is still left cracked, peeling, and very sensitive. I had tried countless lotions and creams made for problem skin, and while it kept things from getting worse, nothing actually healed my skin. On an eczema support group people were discussing how great La Mer moisturizer worked for eczema on the face so I decided to try it on my hands. I went to my local Nordstrom and got a sample (as well as excellent advice from the sales rep) and started putting it on after every time I washed my hands. Within 12 hours I was hooked. I keep a small travel jar in my purse and use nothing else. The light scent doesn't bother my super sensitive skin. I don't have a large income, but to me the price is insignificant because I have full use of both of my hands and can walk normally. I LOVE this product!

worth every penny...
The body creme is expensive; but it lasts a long time- a little bit goes a long way. It's the only body creme I've found that really hydrates my skin, and keeps it that way. Don't have to use it everyday to feel the effects. I highly recommend it.

Life saver
i just purchased the body creme and used it on my scaly elbows and rough and bumpy arms. My dermatologist calls it chicken skin. Well in 2 days I have applied the creme 4 times and have noticed at least a 80% improvement. This stuff is heaven scent and I will never use another brand. Thank you la mer. You saved my life

Soften Body Cream
I was looking for a body cream that would feel good and would not be too thick. A little bit of this La Mer Body Cream goes along way. Being a senior I wasn't sure that this body cream would work but it does and it feels good. The body cream is a bit pricey but the jar is a good size not being small will last longer. I am very satisfied with this purchase I made.
