Details & care

What it is: A shaving cream that generates a rich, foamy lather that helps protect the skin from irritation by improving razor glide.

What it does: It softens the beard for a close and comfortable shave while hydrating your hair and leaving your skin feeling smooth. Designed for use with or without a shaving brush, it contains coconut acid, essential oils and extracts from natural origin and a high concentration of glycerin.

How to use: Always shave during or after a hot shower. Using hot water, lather up a small amount of shaving cream with a brush or your fingers and shave with the grain. For a closer shave, re-lather and shave lightly across or against the grain.

Wash Those Ingrown Hairs & Razor Stubbles Away

Been using this unscented shaving cream for over 15 years and I’ve tried them all but this is one of the best. Don’t let the high-price tag fool you because the cool black tub of cream lasts longer than you think and a little dab at a time goes a long way. And this cream will wash all those unwanted ingrown hairs away — razor stubbles too. Every now & then I alternate between Lab Series but every time I come back to this, The Art of Shaving gives a much softer, soothing, cleaning and all around better shave.

Razor burn

I tried this product 3 times with a new razor(Harry’s) and my face was burning the rest of the day.I I don’t know if it’s because it doesn’t foam on your face or the cream is too thin. I had to go back to drug store shaving gel. ( I received it as a birthday gift)

Prefer Jack Black shaving cream. Sid have to read instructions on how to use this shaving cream. That helped - but still prefer Jack Black brand.
