Textured Cropped Jacket

Cute jacket. Cropped length is not too cropped. Cold weather only; the tweed is quite heavy.

Great short blazer for slacks or jeans.

This is a gorgeous coat. It’s more of a pea coat weight. I didn’t keep it because I was hoping it could be more of a blazer. Slightly oversized for would be good for layering over sweaters.

I typically prefer single-breasted jackets, but took a chance on this double-breasted one and am glad I did so - it fits comfortably in the shoulders (not tight) and looks sharp both open and closed. The cropped length looks best paired with high-waisted skirts and pants, and I like the subtle, textured geometric pattern. The fabric is quite warm, so this is definitely a cool-weather item. I bought it during the Anniversary Sale, so the price was great too. Thank you, Nordstrom, for carrying XXL size in your regular fit line - many tall and athletic women need large sizes but not the fit alterations typically used for plus sizing!

Looks great in the picture right? I’m 5’4, 150 lbs 38DDD so got the large. Arms are huge, sleeve length is good. Overall size is all of one size too large, even buttoned. I understand Nordys can’t carry everything in store for the Anniversary Sale but this has happened a lot this time, order item, get it & return.

I likes it very much but my husband said it looked too boxy…
