TirraTraveler Sandal

I really wanted to like these sandals. I have a couple of pairs of Teva's and love them. These look really cute on the foot and the front straps contain your toes adequately. But - they are too narrow - my foot is a normal width and it bulges over the sides. Also, the ankle strap is much too short - it only catches the Velcro on the strap on about 1/2 to 1/4 of an inch, which will not hold up when walking. I do have high arches, but I have other Teva's with an ankle strap like this and they don't have this problem. And, the bottom is super slippery! It's odd, the edges and most of the sole are not slippery, but there are two areas that are super slippery. When I transitioned from carpet to plank flooring at home, my foot slipped right out from under me! What a shame, these are really nice sandals but whoever is designing them cheaped out on some crucial, simple things.
