Omg this foundation is sooo amazing. I'm super super picky when it comes to foundation. I used to use Makeup forever ultra hd before it was reformulated and it was great. I stuck to it for years. It had a great natural look and the color was on point. Just enough yellow - not too pink. When it was reformulated it wasn't the same and they added the bad alcohol to the top of the ingredient list and it was turning my skin into a wreck. Thus I had to search and search for a new HG. I TRIED everything this past year : NARS glow , SURRATT ,CLE DE PEAU the foundation and RADIANCE cream, YSL, DIOR, LA MER foundation , ARMANI , HAUS LABS, CHANEL ( multiple ones), HOURGLASS, ESTÉE LAUDER , MAC, Bobbi brown , SUQQU, CHANTICALLE FUTURE SKIN, CUSHION , and tinted moisturizer , CHARLOTTE TILBURY, LISA ELDRIDGE, MILK, to name a few. I was becoming convinced I'd never find another foundation I truly loved and that sucks because without a good foundation the rest of your makeup doesn't look as good. The right foundation in my opinion needs to cover , be skin like, have some luminosity, not be cakey , and be THE RIGHT COLOR TONE. I'm happy to say Gucci hit it all. This is even better than makeup forever ultra hd. I also got the primer it's the Silk One. I think it's important to use it with it because this dries down to a more skin like almost powdery effect and without a good primer it may be dry or not go on as nice. I love the primer. It's a dream to put on. I use my fingers and then take a beauty blender to push it in. I found that the color 230 was the perfect yellow tone . I was wearing 245 in makeup forever with a pump of 225. In Gucci 230 is my perfect match. You won't be disappointed. It's gorgeous a unicorn. I have normal to dry , hyper sensitive skin that gets breakouts here and there , and thus far no reaction. I rarely post reviews but I wanted to help anyone out whose looking for a great foundation or a replacement for makeup forever ultra hd .
