'Airsock' Thong Slipper (Women)

I was looking for a comfortable slipper to wear around the house as my others had worm out. I have previously purchased Slippers that had memory foam soles and they were the best, so when I saw that Tempur-pediic made a slipper, I ordered them right away. Excited to receive them, I tried hard to slip them onto my feet. First thing I noticed, these things run smalll. Really small! Second, there was maybe 1/4 inch of memory foam in these slippers and they felt extremely hard and uncomfortable on my feet. So disappointed. They are being returned and I have since received the brand of Slippers that I shouldn't have strayed from (Acorn). Lesson learned, but I expected a lot more comfort from a brand that exclusively produces memory foam...

I was hopeful. I’d like to design, my feet get hot in enclosed slippers. For $44 and an orthopedic brand I expected more support in the foot bed. But it feels extremely flat like you’re walking on cardboard. With your fingers you can feel the memory foam, but when you’re walking around you do not. Literally I feel no difference between five dollar slippers and these. They could do better than that for $44

Let me begin by saying I had a pair of "Nap" brand memory foam thong slippers from Brookstone for years that I LOVED. Unfortunately, they are not sold any more. Finally, it was time to find a replacement! As we have Tempur Pedic mattresses, I love the brand and read some reviews on these slippers. I ordered a size 8 as I wear a shoe size 7 1/2 to 8. I was so excited to receive them, only to find them quite uncomfortable. First of all, my foot goes end to end (no room), so they run quite small. Secondly, the strap that goes across the top of your foot is way too snug. Thirdly, (and most disappointing) is when the memory foam sinks down, the hard, rubber edging that goes around the base of the slipper rubs against the outer edges of the pinky and big toes. My foot is not unusually wide, so I cannot say if a size 9 would or would not have done the same. I thought maybe they will stretch a bit as I wear them, but alas, I will be giving them to my daughter, and will be purchasing a different brand.

I bought these slippers to replace a pair of thong slippers that I bought at "unnamed store"! The reason that I needed to replace brand new slippers is that the front part of the slipper folded under causing a tripping hazard! I love Thong slippers and searched for quite awhile before these! I'm so glad I did the literally feel like you're a kid again jumping on the mattress! They have great support and the fit is perfect, they are simple yet stylish. Once I forgot I had them on and went shopping; they are that comfortable! I highly recommend them!
