Teint Idole Ultra Glow Highlighter Stick

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually struggle with cream highlighters because they can look greasy or emphasize texture, but this one surprised me. The stick format makes application quick and mess-free, and it blends effortlessly with fingers or a brush. It gives a soft, natural-looking glow that can be build up for more impact without looking glittery. It also layers well over foundation. The only thing to keep in mind is that the glow is more radiant than intense, so if you love a blinding highlight, you may want to build it up.

It’s so smooth and feels great when you’re holding it in your hand/lifting the cap. The highlighter itself is glossy/wet looking like a glossy lip balm when applied so it definitely has a stickier texture compared to a traditional powder highlighter. I found because of that it kind of accentuated my skin texture, which I was not a fan of. However, the glittery/shimmer effect is pretty! There are little flecks of purple/pink/blueish glitters. I also appreciate the fact that it is not scented. This highlighter might be best for those who have smoother skin textures and those that like a glossy and glittery appearance!

It melts into the skin, leaving behind radiance that will get compliments and leave you never wanting to go without. No weird glitter or colors, not here. This is for the mature and younger woman that want that natural glow. Whether high points of face, collarbone, or upper arms, it blends beautifully without worry of residue. The application is made simple with a convenient, twist up stick. Apply direct or with fingertips for more precise application. It’s also the perfect size for on the go - although honestly, once applied, I found little need for touch ups. I absolutely love it and refuse to go without.

The color is more of an iridescent color but still blends in with the skin well. Easy to remove as well. I would recommend if you’re looking for a dewy, iridescent finish to give your skin a little extra glow!

It has a waxy, balmy texture with fine blue and purple shimmer that gives an iridescent finish on the skin. It creates a wet glass effect that catches the light beautifully, especially in the sun. The glitter particles are very fine and smooth so they don’t feel gritty at all. The creamy formula applies easily on bare skin, although some of the shimmer disappears when blended. However, when layered over make up, I noticed it tends to pick up and disturb the product underneath. I also wouldn’t recommend setting it with powder as it clings to it and can create a patchy mess. I find it works best when applied on bare skin with minimal blending.
