Tedi Double Breasted Wool & Alpaca Coat

This coat deserves a review. I own a few other Fleurette coats and they are typically gems. What I loved about this coat... a) the fact that it buttons all the way up unlike so many others, b) the oversized silhouette and dropped shoulders (making it easy to throw on over anything), c) the wool/alpaca blend which makes it a true winter coat, with warmth, unlike most of their wool or cashmere coats which are like 45 degree appropriate at the absolute coldest, and d) the color/texture of the coat are interesting. Why I returned it... the buttons on the front were misaligned in multiple ways. The bottom two were closer together than the sets above. The top two buttons did not sit symmetrically underneath the lapels. The buttons across the bust were clearly not straight across, made more obvious because well, it's your bust. If one small mistake, could've had it fixed at Nordstrom, but too much. Besides that, the stitching in the lining near the underarms was coming out (also could've been fixed free of charge). And the arms were very long (which would've been a charge to alter). If they brought this back without these errors, and especially in black, I would snap it up again in a heartbeat. Runs pretty large to size - I am usually a size 6 (max 8) in most designer clothes and a size 8 was on the large side (though appropriate if you want it to layer over thick sweaters and blazers, still some room to spare).
