Little Chef Upper East Retro Kitchen Playset

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited about getting this play kitchen for my kids since we have had a little plastic one for a long time and I wanted to upgrade. I saw this and thought it was incredibly cute and was also gender neutral so that way my son and daughter could both play with it and it wasn't a boys or girls kitchen. When it arrived, the box was not overly big, but it was SUPER heavy. Really heavy. I waited a little bit to put it together because the weight of it was just daunting. I finally had my father in law (who regularly builds houses and is like a contractor, so he knows how to build stuff and put it together) and my husband (who also very much works with his hands and knows this stuff) put this this together and they said that it was incredibly hard. They said that holes that were supposed to be cut into parts of the wood were not, they said that it had an extra set of screws that were not for putting this together. Directions were not clear on what went where. It took them several hours to put it together. Because of the holes not being made, the sound part that goes to the microwave was not able to be installed so that's a function that my kids don't have. After they were finally able to get it together, my kids absolutely loved it. It came with a pot with a lid, a pan, little spatula, a cup with ice, and a few other small things. I don't know if it is supposed to, but the side part for the fridge is not attached to the part with the sink/oven. The stove top does make noises as well, a sizzling noise and a frying noise. My kids love it, it has a fridge with ice dispenser, microwave, stove top with knobs, sink, and oven a long with a few cabinets for storage. The product itself is absolutely a blast for the kids, but the construction of the kitchen and the assembly was enough of a hassle to make it lose 2 stars. I was considering buying more kids furniture from them as it seems pretty sturdy, however I am not sure I want to deal with assembling any of their furniture again. If you buy this product, make sure you have time and patience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kitchen set is so adorable and much more realistic that other play kitchen sets! The white color is accented with gold which is beautiful. There a silver pegs above the sink that allows for accessories to be hung. There is lots of storage for the accessories and any other kitchen toys you want to add. There is a pretend ice maker and water dispenser. My daughter absolutely loves the sounds that come from the burners. The microwave also lights up. The instructions are fairly simple and there are a lot of parts. It took me quite a while to put everything together by myself. Do not keep it in a damp place or else it could warp. I’m very pleased and my daughter loves it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kitchen is adorable. It has all the features my kids like - the extra counterspace, stove, oven, hooks for the utensils, and cupboard area. My kids like to pretend to prepare the food and then sell the food like a fast food restaurant. I had used power tools to assemble so it took less than half an hour to put together. My kids will get years of play with this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This play kitchen is amazing. My 7 year old daughter and 5 year old niece loved it, they play for hours. My daughter was so exited since she loves to play with her younger cousins. This did require a full assembly that took some time. We did it together with both my kids helping. Everything is clearly marked and the instructions are pretty clear to follow with the pictures. My wife like the retro look with the white and gold colors. It is an L shaped so it easily fits in the corner of the playroom. It comes with all the appliances a real kitchen has with plenty of storage for play items. This is a great play kitchen for the girls. Definitely their favorite toy that they use almost daily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The teamson kids dreamland barcelona play kitchen is a great item, seems to be super sturdy, great quality, and that it will last for years to come. It does take some time to put together but the directions are pretty easy to follow. It’s made of wood so it gives something different from the normal plastic kitchen setups you usually see for younger children. It’s perfect size for small children.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Dreamland Barcelona white play kitchen by Teamson Kids is an adorable, imaginative complete play kitchen that has so many awesome features. The white color is timeless and the gold accents are so sleek and modern. There are three silver pegs to hang the included accessories and frying pan. The knobs on the oven really do move and the burners turn red and make a boiling sound when you put a pot/pan on top of them. The microwave also lights-up and flickers when you put something inside of it like it is actually cooking. The little fridge even includes a pretend area to get water and ice from that looks just like our fridge. There is plenty of storage space in this kitchen to add all of your play food and utensils. It is relatively easy to assemble if you follow the instructions, but even after assembly our fridge door doesn't close all of the way, but it closes enough that it isn't very noticeable to anyone else but me. That was the only part that didn't quite line-up exactly during the assembly, everything else did. The great part about this play kitchen is that you can either put it in a corner in a L-shape or you can put it along a wall and allow it to stay in one continuous line. It is customizable to your room which is a great feature! With the upcoming holidays, this would make an excellent addition to any home and bring hours of play-time to any child!
