I just wish I tried TC earlier, rather than trying product after product of Spanx with only marginal satisfaction. The gripper strips work just like they should, stay in place with no lines. I tried both this and the lower-priced TC high-waist shaper, and with this, my low waist ('pooch') was an inch smaller than with the other one. (My natural waist was the same measurement in both.)
Sizing: I am typically an 8/10 in bottoms - My measurements were the same wearing both the small and medium, but the medium was easier to put on/take off. Kept the medium.

Awful!
These run true to size. I’m 5’4”, weigh 125 pounds and I got size medium. I’m not chubby, just have the “grandma “ pot belly. After putting these on, I suddenly had rolls and bulges, that I don’t normally have. They actually “created” more bulges, maybe due to the “boning” strips that are sewn into them. Back they go.

Finally!
Belly fat has been the bane of my existence for years and I have tried many, many high waist shapers and they have all rolled down! Finally I've found the best ever! This shaper (black) stayed comfortable for several hours when I attended a play and dinner after...no rolling, front or back, and I looked great to boot! Im ordering it in the nude color.

Love it
This smooths out my apple shape. There is boning on the waist that I feel supports my back. I love it and will buy another one. It's my go to daily work under garment.
