Tapered Pull-On Pants

These are nice enough pants; however, they didn’t fit me well. I generally wear a size 12 in pants, and while the Large technically fits me, the pants just look awkward and the pleats bulge out a bit. I also was a little taken aback by how polyester-y they look. Even at the sale price, they’re quite expensive. I guess I expected them to look nicer. They’re going back.

Color is spectacular. I thought the material was nice and lovely, despite the other comments about polyester. It seems luxe to me. Fit is, indeed, odd. The entire suit is boxy and the pleats are a bit poufy. Have to get used to ankle pants with professional clothing. That said, for a curvy gal, these are COMFORTABLE. Apple figure, so pants can be tricky, they never fit in my waist. While these aren't particularly slimming, it great to have a pair of pants I can be comfortable in for all-day meetings, long haul flights. Very lovely and professional and forgiving for a curvy larger waist. Must pair with spectacular shoes to make the ankle cut work. I went for bright fuscia Jeffrey Campbell suede loafers. Recommend, but with caveats.
