Not great for younger students
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cylinder that holds the rolls of tape just pulls up. There is nothing holding it in which is not ideal for my preschool classroom. The tape is not super sticky which is can be good or bad depending on your needs.

Great Base, Useless to Cut Tape
Solid wood base, holds the tape well, absolute nightmare to tear the tape. We were so excited to introduce this classic to our new site and were so disappointed to find the quality of the product is so much worse than older styles. At our previous site, we had one for years and years [possibly from a different company I am wondering at this point?] and it was a tool used daily in our writing center. We purchased this one as our new site did not have one and were surprised so find tearing a piece of tape is near impossible which is the entire function of the product. We will be using funds to purchase another one from a different company hoping for a more functional product. Currently, our students have to use scissors to cut the tape.
