'Star' Sneaker

Since I was ordering these through the mail, I listened to all the previous reviews about them running small. I ordered up a half size. DEFINITELY need to. They would have never fit me at my regular size. No one has mentioned this yet, so I feel compelled to. I thought at first I was going to have to send them back. When I put them on, the way the insole fits, it pushed my toes up against the front of the shoe. I was SO disappointed! But, I thought I'd wear them around my house for awhile and see if anything changed. I also loosened up the shoestrings to give the width more room. My toes kept rubbing on the inside of the shoe. After about 2 hours, I totally forgot I had them on and realized that my foot had conformed to the insert and my toes were no longer touching the end! The next day, I took a chance and wore them out for an entire day. No rubbing at all!! So....don't give up when you first try them on. Give them a chance if your toes are cramped at first. Now, I can't take them off. Unbelievably comfortable. Am going to buy more colors. Thank you Taos!
