Lace Midi Shirtdress

I really wanted to love this dress, but the zipper is too sticky. The dress is difficult to zip up, which is concerning and I absolutely hate the way the buttons fall on the dress. They are not stationary. The buttons hang awkwardly and when you walk they bounce around. The dress will require too much additional work and alterations, so I will be returning.

Beautifully made dress, zip back, faux buttons. Tapered like a pencil skirt. I have a 40C chest and the 12 fit perfectly, which is my typical dress size. However I wear a size 8/29 pant normally, so the waist is a little loose but I can tailor that. The lace material is soft, and lining attached.

I really like this dress. Usually, I am super itchy with lace; but decided to try it out, nevertheless. Turns out, the lace is not itchy and the garment has a soft feel to it. Unfortunately, what I do not love are the buttons. This dress would be great if it were not for the buttons not laying flush with the dress. Instead, they hang making it look as though there’s something wrong with it. The buttons are quite pretty, but the way they sit on the dress detracts from the overall aesthetic. I think I will be returning this dress.

Gorgeous Dress!!! Fit is perfect for me!!! The only issue is the zipper is VERY difficult to work at the waist. Going to alterations to help with this issue - I don’t want to give up the dress 😊
