do NOT buy this set
I placed three orders of this dinnerware set because I just moved and needed a full restock. The sets are beautiful, but they will scratch as soon as you cut something on the plates. I cut my burrito on this plate and it permanently scratched the plate. I freaked out and washed it by hand and then put it in the dishwasher, but the scratches remained. I am so upset because I can't return this item because it was unboxed. What a disaster. Save your money and go with another brand.

Nice set
