Textured Lace Mermaid Gown

I have absolutely no complaints about the dress. It fit perfectly. The make is high quality and the detail on the waist is just enough to distract from problem areas :)

I have this dress in size 6. I am 5'9". I have a small waist (27") and a bit hippy (38"); it fits perfectly. The bands at waist really give you great shape that continues through the hips and then finishes with a wonderful flair at the bottom. This will be perfect for my son's wedding this spring. I will wear about a 3" heel with the dress so the length is right. Very pleased with the quality of construction and the weight of the lace and lining.

What a wonderful dress to put on. Soft, slightly stretchy, flatter-ably formfitting, and very well made. This dress is solid. Some dresses feel like little bits are going to fall off or rip/stretch, but this dress is meant to have some give which works well for curves. The overlay is a thick soft embroidery that seems very well made, I can't imagine this is easy to snag (like some cheaper dresses). I am 5'8" and 180lbs. My bust and hips 44" and my true waist is 36". In the photo I am wearing 2" heels and wearing a size 14.

I wore this dress to my daughters wedding and it was the perfect choice!! Once again, shopping at Nordstroms was the best decision! I received numerous complicates and felt wonderful!

I bought this dress out of desperation for my sons upcoming wedding ~ having no luck elsewhere. I have put on weight and was concerned the 16p wouldn't fit. Well, it fit like a glove and looks like it was tailored to my body! I am 5'3 and 185 pounds (short and curvy and busty). It is EXTREMELY flattering on me and the petite allows me to wear a sensible 3 inch heal with the length just perfect. It is a substantially made dress which hugs and supports. I truly love this dress and on the day I am sure will be confident and comfortable. I can really say no wrong about this purchase. I always read reviews and see most are people who wear size 6 - 10 and are tall(er). Well, for you short chunky souls out there ~ this is your dress. Tadashi Shoji dresses rock.

I purchased the dress to wear at my daughter's wedding. When I saw it in the store I almost passed by it on the rack. I had tried on at least 10 others and at the last minute decided to try this one on. It doesn't look very special on the hanger but wow, when you put it on the fit and detail is incredible. I am 5'8" and have a few more pounds on than I'd like to admit. This dress is somehow form fitting yet miraculously flattering. I bought it in blue, the other two color choices are not nearly as rich looking. I purchased a size 16. It has to be shortened, but the rest of the fit is perfect. The neckline has a non-slip band sewn around on the inside. The dress is worn slightly down on the shoulder and once you put it where you want it, it doesn't move at all. I highly recommend this dress!
