What it does: A luxuriously lightweight serum with a fast-absorbing silky texture that envelops the skin in soothing comfort. Expertly crafted in La Prairie’s laboratories, Hypower LP52™, the Exclusive Cellular Complex™ and Swiss Glacial Minerals activate key barrier repair pathways, reducing oxidative stress. Amazing serum

I’m really loving this serum. I noticed straight away that my skin felt smoother and more hydrated. After using it for the past two weeks, my skin looks healthier, while my fine lines appear less noticeable. I also love how little I need to cover my whole face. The packaging looks beautiful and feels very luxurious. Definitely a favourite in my skincare routine.

very strong smell

I don’t like this at all. It’s smell so strong and I used it made my face red with bad rashes. My skin never had this issue this is the first time because of how strong the smell is . I stopped using and my rash when away. Never using this again.

Pure luxury in a bottle!

I love this serum, not only does it smell absolutely divine, but it leaves my skin visibly more hydrated, plump and dewy. I use it underneath the matching cream in the range, and the combination of both helps lock in the goodness all day. This serum works beautifully under make up too. My only gripe at first was the dropper not releasing enough product, but I soon realised a little goes a very long way and the dropper actually helps disperse the product sparingly (and more economically!) I will most certainly be repurchasing this!

Absolutely this this serum

I absolutely love this serum. The texture is incredibly lightweight and silky, and absorbs into the skin quickly without leaving any sort of sticky feeling. After using it for a couple of weeks and my skin is already feeling a lot more radiant and glasslike. It’s already a core part of my morning and evening routine, with it feeling comfortable under both moisturiser and makeup. The elegant packaging really adds to their product, with there being a built in pipette to help you apply the serum. Would highly recommend this product, as my skin feels softer, smoother and beautifully hydrated.

Very silky

This serum has been such a lovely addition to my skincare routine. It has a light, silky consistency that spreads effortlessly across my skin and sinks in surprisingly quickly. I especially like that it doesn’t leave that tacky feeling that some serums can. It feels very luxurious to use, from the texture to the way it leaves my skin looking afterwards. I’ve really enjoyed using for this each day and it’s definitely one of those products that makes my routine feel a little more indulgent.

Expensive but works wonders

I don't usually bother writing beauty reviews online, but this stuff actually saved my face during a particularly brutal month of trial prep. Being a 35-year-old lawyer means stress and freezing office air conditioning are pretty much my permanent default state. My skin was looking incredibly dull and depleted. I bought the Serum purely out of late-night desperation. It physically hurts to hand over this much money for skincare, but it genuinely works. The watery texture absorbs instantly. After three weeks, the chronic dry patches on my cheeks completely vanished. My face just looks calmer and distinctly more alive, even on four hours of sleep. It’s undeniably extortionate, but I am already dreading the exact day my first bottle runs out.
