Swim leggings
I wanted to find bathing suit pants for my son. He loves to play outside all day especially with the water table and sprinkler but he is very fair and I wanted to make sure he had as much sun protection as possible. Il lovethese swim leggings!

Okay but big and thick
The price of these leggings is pretty good relative to the other options, but the material is really thick which I dont love. I thought they would be a good replacement for Coolibar swim leggings, which have the same level of UPF coverage, but I now think the Coolibar ones are much better because the material is thinner and seems less cheap.

No burn!
These leggings do the trick! Light baby skin was protected during our trip to Hawaii. The only bad part is that they are double layered. This made them very difficult to get on and weighed the toddler down a bit (but didnt slow him down!). They also take forever to dry. But if sun protection is what you are after, these are great.

Toddler Leggings
Love these items, they are perfect for hours on the boat. I wish they were only single layered since we live in Florida they will probably be too thick in the summer.

Sun protection for precious babe
Amazing peace of mind knowing that my 20 month toddler's skin is protected. He has had no complaints wearing these, and he is the type who will fuss and tug at reusable swim diapers. At the ocean, we opt not to do a swim diaper underneath and happy to report that due to snug fit it contains just like a swim diaper would. FYI - they aren't very stretchy and they are thick and double layered. I have two criticisms - 1) I followed the size chart and it was tight in the thigh area and made it hard to get the pants fully up over the hip so I still had to apply sunscreen to his lower back. I also think that if using these with a regular bulkier diaper, I would definitely need to size up from what's on the size chart. 2) fine sand definitely gets between the two layers, I presume through the whole where the drawstring is, and accumulates around the ankles. I would rather the pants be more sealed from sand than have a drawstring.

Sun protection pants
I bought these in size 18/24 for my 17m old in hopes they will last two seasons. These fit well but are a bit long this year (as I expected). They do have ties in the elastic waist to help get the best fit. They are double layered so are thicker than you might expect. They are a great option to protect against UV rays without trying to apply sunscreen on busy toddlers!
