Swift Repel Packable Running Jacket

I purchased this jacket in black. On the positive side, I do like the fit and look of this lightweight jacket. Unfortunately, the first time I wore the jacket it was raining and the color bled all around the collar and sleeves and ruined the Lululemon sweatshirt I had underneath (see picture). I would not recommend wearing in the rain despite this jacket being marketed as water-repellent. If you do, make sure you wash it first and do not wear with light colors or anything you like too much.

Once it’s on, you’re able to move around freely without any constriction. All this makes this jacket perfect for anyone that runs or jogs. There are 2 zipper pockets on the outside and inside pockets as well. The hood has drawstrings so you’re able to tighten it if needed. I got the size XL but I would say the jacket fits more like a large. So runs about a size smaller. Overall the jacket is comfortable and a perfect addition for someone that moves around a lot.

The fact that it’s packable, waterproof, and has UV protection also makes it perfect for hiking and trail running. The fabric is super unique - I’ve never felt anything quite like it, and it’s really comfortable to wear. Extremely lightweight, but still provides protection in cooler weather. It fits very true to size, and I love that it has a good length, both in the body and the sleeves, as I’ve frequently run into issues with too short of sleeves in other athletic jackets I’ve tried in the past. I think it looks really sleek, and it’s perfect for going out and about generally or for a workout. This will definitely be my go to jacket this spring, both for running and for other outdoor activities.

As a busy mother of four, this jacket has already been worn by me in a variety of different circumstances. It has helped keep me dry during an early morning run in the rain. Its wrinkle free feature and UV protection made it the perfect jacket to pack in my bag for a play date at the zoo. It has also been the perfect layering jacket for a warm up on the treadmill when I have needed to work out inside because of snowy conditions. The adjustable closures allow for a very personalized fit. This allowed me to have great range of motion while wearing the jacket. The fabric of the jacket was breathable and the venting features helped keep me cool and dry. The design of this jacket is my favorite feature. It truly was made to provide protection to the person wearing it in a variety of different situations and climates. I love that I can wear it in my snowy hometown, but still take it with me on a vacation to a sunny destination. The only thing that I would consider changing on this jacket would be the adjustable features. The adjustable closures would occasionally hit me in the face while I was running. I would recommend this jacket to any women who is on the search for a versatile jacket.
