Great for fine, drooping hair...
So, I bought this powder for $42 or so, and wondered what something so expensive would do for my fine hair? I was shocked when I received the package and the bottle was SO SMALL. "This is such a rip-off, well, I won't order again", I thought, but I was very wrong. I did take the time to google the product and what it did, and I was hooked. I ran to the mirror, and pumped some in my 2 day old, very flat, hair. WOW!! The body, the umph, the wow factor. So, to be TMI, I didn't wash it the next day, and it was still full of body the next morning.
Fast forward, and I have used this a few times now, all for volume, and it works, it really does. The texture and feeling on the fingers is quite awful, really, but the fact that it is unnoticeable in my blondish hair, that it lifts very, very well, and it holds the lift for days sold me. Feels awful on the hands, great hold. It does feel very weird in the hair too, kind of like dry shampoo, but more chalky. Regardless, I will continue to use this product from now on.

Disappointed Oribe.
What a disappointment from Oribe. I was so excited to try this and loved how the little pump blew out the powder but this literally made my hair so greasy that it was disgusting. It did opposite of what it was supposed to do. I ended up throwing it in the trash unfortunately.

Lightweight volumizer
My hair stylist used this product on me before I deemed it a must-have. It gives a lightweight, natural looking lift to my hair... As long as I'm not sweating heavily (ie, running around) or in humid weather. This is a powder so presence of moisture negates the effect. I was lucky to learn how to apply this product from a pro to give that natural 'un-styled' look: agitate the bottle to loosen up the powder (I slap the bottom of the bottle against my palm), part the hair into manageable sections (3 sections for me), pump a small amount along the parting (ie directly on your scalp, not the hands), and spread it with your fingers, running it along strands. Then style! Your hair will feel stiff, unwieldy if you put too much. Very powerful if used correctly... Or incorrectly.

It's a no for me
I had high hopes for this product but it ended up being a no-go for me. When it sprays out it left a very thick consistency that weighed my hair down, rather than giving it volume.

Does give great volume but use too much and you’ll be able to see it. Works in my dirty blonde hair.
