just what I wanted
This is my second purchase from Honeylove. The first shaper ordered(XL) fit too large on me but it reduced my muffin top and too much time lapsed for me to return it. This time I ordered a large and it produced the look I wanted: smooth on the tummy and a more “ snatched “ appearance at the waist. The sheer fabric might be a challenge when pulling the garment up and over the tummy because I don’t want to rip it with the tugging. I’m excited to wear this under my clothes when I attend my reunion in late April.

Sounds like corduroy & made no difference
I had great hopes after reading the NY Times review of this product. Yes, it felt comfortable but I walked into my kitchen to remove a pan from stove while trying them on and discovered that the legs were wicked NOISY when I walked. It sounded like I was wearing corduroy. I'd never be able to wear them with a skirt. Then I peeled them off while still wear my dress and realized that, even though they were incredibly hard to put on, it made absolutely no difference in how I looked in the dress. Sent them back immediately.
I also sent back the SPANX OnCore High Waist Mid-Thigh Shorts for the same reasons.

Returned- too noisy when you walk
Like the Spanxsculpt, it doesn’t matter if it’s comfortable when it sounds like corduroy when you walk. Also, when I took it off while still wearing my dress, I noticed it made no difference in the dresses fit or appearance.

The compression is definitely there and it did a great job smoothing in the stomach area. But the rigid boning on the sides didn’t lay flat and made it look like I had a big dent in my side and was just overall uncomfortable so I have to return it.

The black & beige are different than each other.
The beige is a solid material-without the sheer mesh the black one has. I sized up according to suggestions-but I have the start of arthritis in my hands and I could not pull this all the way up. Soon, I realized this was more trouble than it's worth. Just didn't work for me. Brutal to pull all the way up.
