I am Afro Caribbean and I am really into clean skin care products including sun protection, the thing about sunscreen protection on black skin that is most discouraging is the white cast it leaves making you look unnatural or the ingredients that are bad for you. I had been using another brand for some time but it would sometimes leave my complexion looking grayish or it feathered out like tissue paper all over my face. Last summer in San Francisco I visited the Sephora Hillsdale store and a pleasant lady who is the Supergoop representative turned me on to this “Unseen sunscreen” it is the best sunscreen for the money, no white cast, works well with most moisturizers and makes for an awesome primer under foundation. A little goes a long way, put your serum on first, then moisturizer and let them absorb and then add the Unseen sunscreen and off you go. Supergoop also has another spray on sunscreen for retouches, that one is awesome as well called defense refresh setting mist spray great for retouches with or without makeup. This is my experience with Supergoop, hope you have a positive one as well.

Filled with Silicone
I am a doctor myself and very familiar with skin care products myself. I tried this product but the texture feels very soft and rubbery. I looked at the ingredients and it looked like it has a lot of Dimethicone, which is a silicone used in a lot of beauty products. I am returning because I am not a fan of products with high silicone ingredients as it clogs my pores and deposits inside causing milia.

Tiny mini version so I could try it first. Obsessed. I have incredibly reactive and sensitive skin, eczema, dry spots, and t zone oiliness. I introduce new products really slowly so I can tell what I react to. Most sunscreens break me out either with cystic acne on my cheeks or tiny red bumps all over my face. Absolutely zero reaction for me for unseen sunscreen. I’ve been layering it over my vitamin c and moisturizer and I have no texture change in how sticky I feel or feeling oily. I’ve tried it under light makeup and no change to how my makeup applies, might be slightly grippier with my concealer which is a plus. Barely smells like sunscreen too. I’m just blown away, I’ve heard great things but I wasn’t expecting it to be so perfect! Will be repurchasing the bigger size, this size is so cute and perfect for your travel bag.

So far so good!
I have worn this sunscreen four times and as a mocha toned woman, I have loved how it doesn’t make my skin look grey or whitish and how it doesn’t make my skin oily and gives me a matte finish throughout the day. It feels like it’s barely there, but it is!!

Weightless but doesn't work
I really, really wanted to love this product. The formula & weight are both perfect; It literally feels like I am putting nothing on my skin. It's so light and lovely, and I feel excited to put it in before I go out. That said, it appears to not work particularly well. I'm pretty fair, and the last three times I've used the sunscreen I have still ended up with a minor sunburn on my forehead, even though the bottle is brand-new and I was not in the sun for a long time. I'm going to give it one more shot, but I'm pretty skeptical at this point that it lives up to the hype and I probably will not purchase again unless something changes significantly.

Highly recommend for daily use
I've tried several daily sunscreens over the last several years and Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen is my favorite. It really is easily absorbed and a great base for makeup. The only complaint I have is that it's not as sweat proof as some other sunscreens I've tried in the past. I had a very mild burn near my hairline on a couple of days where I was outside sweating. This one is great for everyday wear and I've never had any burns with normal use.
