What it does: This daily essential applies easily, glides smoothly onto skin and softly blends in sheer for a dream-like feel. It's recommended for all skin types, including sensitive skin, and it doubles as a makeup-gripping primer with a natural finish and water- and sweat-resistance for 40 minutes.

How to use: Wear the sunscreen on its own or as a makeup-gripping prime. Complete your skin-care routine. Apply the sunscreen generously and evenly across your face and neck. Allow 30 seconds for product to set before applying makeup.

Perfect non-toxic face sunscreen
I have been searching for a non-toxic every day face sunscreen to go under my makeup for a long time and I finally found it. This leaves a white caste but completely blends in within one minute. It also acts as a primer for makeup and smoothes pores which was an added bonus. Highly recommend!

I wouldn’t recommend this item
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wouldn’t recommend this item solely because of how it worked on my skin. This particular item made my skin darker and dryer and the flakey from using.

Primer texture
This sunscreen definitely has the feel of makeup primer than anything else. It has the slippery silicony feel to it when blending it out. Glides on your skin beautifully especially if you were to layer it with makeup. I personally hate the primer feel of it, but layers beautifully under foundation w/o being greasy or glossy thus can’t complain. Has a nice light whipped texture with minimal white cast. Biggest negative is that I feel like I get more breakout zits from wearing this sunscreen than others.

My favorite!
Trying out several Supergoop mineral based sunscreens options with my first order. My teen daughter and I love them all! So far, this Mineral Unseen Sunscreen spf 40 is my favorite!

Comes out thick but blends well
I bought this because it’s pregnancy safe, I also love supergoops unseen screen, which works so well with my skin, so I figured this would be a great alternative while pregnant. Honestly was not expecting the consistency out of the tube, it’s very thick and stiff. That said, it becomes smooth and creamy as I apply it to my face and really just melts into my skin. I do need to double check I’ve really smoothed it on my skin or it can leave white streaks, but I don’t find it leaves a white cast, as long as I put the effort into rubbing it into my skin well. Over all I’ve been super happy with this mineral sunscreen and plan to buy again!

Good for sensitive skin
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mineral version is less irritating on my sensitive skin, so I prefer it over the "regular" unseen sunscreen. This also feels a little less thick and silicone-y on the skin compared to the regular unseen and the mineral matte (tinted) sunscreen. My skin is pretty light, so I don't get a white cast, but this is a white, not clear, formula. This works very well as a primer under powder foundation, and it leaves my skin feeling soft.
