Men's Riviera Cotton Polo

Nice looking shirt, a bit boxy, and fyi it arrives with a "designer" note tag with very strict return policy. The shirt has an open weave, and feels like a rough pique cotton, not really comfortable at all for me. The open weave also collects crumbs and other odd debris of life and it's tough wiping it off since any dirt lodges in the open pores. (I've also had a chest chair pop through.) Also for all the noise about the collar standing up, it's better than certain other brands but still falls sorta flat. You MUST not dry it - even at low temp and to damp finish it will still shrink. Looks nice when first worn but after a day or so of wearing and certainly after a few washes....I wouldn't buy again.

Although this Sunspell polo has a very good reputation, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the fabric. It possesses an airy weave that is excellent for warm weather. The fit is comfortable. I will be purchasing more of this classic polo; the price is worth the product.

This is a piquet weave. Prefer a smooth fabric.

The quality and fabric are excellent, but unfortunately the sizing runs quite small. I’m 6’0”, 175 lbs and normally wear a Large, but this fit much more like a Medium, especially through the shoulders and body. I ultimately had to return it. I’d recommend sizing up if you prefer a comfortable classic fit.

I was surprised to see this item I order from Nordstrom came from Nordstrom Rack. I though the price I paid did not reflect what it would cost at the Nordstrom Rack.
