tangled mess and cant try on because of packaging

I am so intrigued by these earrings but have never spent this much for costume jewelry - I knew I’d want to get them home and try them on. They showed up a tangled mess - clearly just thrown into the dust bag and wrapped up in their own tag. I’d like to try to untangle them but the backs to the earrings are taped. I can’t even try them on. They’re beautiful but I’d like to try these on before committing to $125 for costume jewelry. Will be returning.
