We totally get how important lasting power and projection are, especially when you’re excited about a new scent. Just to share a little insider tip, prestige fragrances tend to last longer on hydrated skin. If your skin is naturally oily, fragrance bonds with those oils and can last anywhere from 4 hours to all day. On dry skin, it’s usually closer to 4 hours. To maximize wear, try applying right after a shower while skin is still damp, or layer with an unscented or matching lotion. Pulse points like your midriff, ankles, and décolletage also help with projection. And fun fact, our sense of smell gets “tired” after about 15 minutes, so while you may not smell your fragrance anymore, others around you often still do. Carrying a purse spray for touch-ups is also a great hack.
