Studio Lite Crop Leggings

I love Zella leggings and ordered my usual size M in the color Red Hibiscus. The color is a bright, fun neon red and the fabric is lightweight and breathable. They aren't quite as cropped on my 5'3" frame, but I still like the length. The only downside is that you can't wear any dark-colored underwear with these leggings because they'll show right through as soon as you squat or bend down. I'm still going to keep them because they're so comfortable and cute, just a bummer that I can only wear them with certain colored underwear.

I never know what to expect from Zella anymore. I have many pairs of their leggings because they're a staple in my wardrobe. I used to know what to expect from them; the fabric and fit were always the same, and fantastic quality. Now, every single time I order a pair, they've changed the fabric and the fit. A couple of months ago, I got a pair of these exact leggings, and while I loved them, my usual size was actually too big. When they were on (major) sale recently, I figured I'd get another pair, but this time size down. I clicked on the same item in my purchase history and even checked the label with the leggings in hand to make sure I was getting the same kind. Not only are they tiny as if made for a smurf, but the fabric is COMPLETELY different. This has been happening for a while. Their "live-in" leggings continue to change, too. It seems that they're experimenting a lot and I just hate it! I never know what size to get or what the fabric will be like. They made unnecessary changes to an already-fantastic legging and continue to do so. It's so funny that I can have several pairs of the SAME legging, and each one of them is different! Please disregard my answer for "how does it fit?" because honestly, it literally depends on the day you order and what Zella is putting out at the time. Sometimes your usual size will do, sometimes you will have wished you sized down or sized up....who knows anymore.

I have only worn studio high waist crop leadings by Zella since they were first introduced. But these are thin, not well made, cheap. Don’t hold you in, I’m always pulling them up. Super disappointed because I loved Zella by far over LuLu until now, now I’m going to have to rethink my strategy. No bueno.

Wow!! My first pair of Zella yoga pants and I’m so excited to have found a more cost effective option with such amazing quality. The fabric is a bit thicker and combined with the slight compression does WONDERS for smoothing and a bit of shaping. They don’t ride or bunch up either. Only drawback is that it takes a while for these to dry after a bit of sweating. Will definitely buy more!
