What it does: A tri-system blend of water, emollients and powder glides onto skin as a soft, creamy emulsion with a lightweight, transformative texture. The innovative sweat- and humidity-resistant formula provides medium buildable coverage, allowing for true-to-skin shading from very light to very deep in a natural matte finish. Light-diffusing properties soften lines to create a fresh, flawless texture for all skin types. This formula also delivers immediate and long-term moisturization with 12-hour color-true wear and won’t cause acne. This foundation is noncaking, nonfading and crease-resistant. Available in 42 all-inclusive, color-true shades.
How to use: Apply the foundation to skin using a sponge or brush. Blend and build until you reach your desired coverage level. Be sure to keep the compact tightly closed when not in use to prevent it from drying out.

PERFECT COVERAGE
I have been using this MAC Foundation for many years and think it is terrific! It is light to medium coverage, goes on silky, and does not crease during the day. I have tried many liquid foundations, but always come back to the Mac. It is quick to apply in the morning, no brushes, no mess.
I am over 60 + years, and it does the trick!

Not happy
Was very surprised that this foundation dried out quickly. I made sure it was tightly locked. But to my surprise it dried out. But , at first when I received it, when I was able to use it, it didn't blend at all. Was very difficult to blend with brush and sponge. Had very high expectations and very disappointed. Wouldn't recommend. And I wish MAC started putting expiration date on the products. So we could understand the reason why and if makeup doesn't work well as promised.

Color is off
I really like the formula but the color is off. I purchased the same shade I use in studio fix and it was MUCH darker... I will try 1 and 2 shades lighter and keep my fingers crossed.

not silicone free
This product is described as silicone free, but one of the main ingredients is cyclopentasiloxane! This is a type of silicone. If you do not mind silicone this is an ok foundation, but if you do not like the way silicone compounds dry, or avoid them for other reasons, this might not be the right type of foundation for you. I found it looked ok at first, but was looked very dry in just a short time.

great coverage
I am amazed by this product. I usually wear the face and body foundation which is light coverage but wanted something more... this is great and meets that need! It’s not Cakey and goes on evenly and smoothly.
I do agree with one previous user that it is darker so I went down by one shade. I ordered for pickup then went to the counter to ensure my shade was correct with a MAC artist (and it was with one shade down)

Disappointed
I ordered the same shade I wear in their studio fix powder, but this is way darker. As far as longevity, it didn’t last the entire day either.

Choosing cream to powder versus liquid.
The studio fixed cream to powder makeup is an excellent choice for me. I find the cream to powder makeup is easier to apply. But this is very pricey for the amount that you get.
