What it does: The iconic Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation is a two-in-one foundation and setting powder reimagined with a blur-matte finish and 24-hour oil control. The lightweight, blendable formula includes rose, sugar kelp and red algae extracts. The silky talc-free textures smoothes and evens skin tone while delivering customizable medium-to-full coverage. The formula is also sweat- and humidity-resistant. It provides oil and shine control for up to 12 hours and is noncaking, nonstreaking, nonsetting and fade-resistant. It immediately helps reduce the appearance of pores and is photo-friendly with no grey cast.
How to use: Apply this powder foundation to prepped skin. For lighter coverage, use a fluffy brush. To build coverage, apply with the included sponge applicator. Store sponge in the compartment underneath the powder instead of on top of the powder.

MAC Understood the Assignment
After reading so many negative reviews on here, I decided it was time for me to wnter the chat. I used MAC back in the 90’s and for quite a while. Then I became bothered as I began noticing a grey cast on my face in pictures. I was wearing C7 at that time and that was the color I was matched with by a MAC professional. After years of use, I stopped wearing MAC for that reason, and also because it made my oily skin even more oily. When I saw the reformulatef Studio Fix, I thought it was worth a try as I had become dissatisfied with other brands that I had been using over the years. I looked at the colors online first, bit then realized I should go into a store and get matched to the perfect color. I found my perfect color, NC46, and ot goes on like skin. The coverage is very satisfactory to me as it covers my blemishes and doesn’t make my skin more oily. I feel that it’s very good for oil control. It also lasts all day and does not need to be reapplied. This also does not leave any grey cast on my face like the “OG” formulation. I have never had a more perfect foundation match. My advice is to ignore these negative reviews, go into a store and find your match. If there isn’t a store near you that sells MAC, order some that you think are in the ballpark of what matched you, try them and then return what doesn’t work. Don’t always go by the suggestion based on what you wore in the other version. Mine was off.

I been using Mac for the past 15 years and never thought the colors and formula were going to ever change for the worst, all of the shades are horrible either too dark or orangey they discontinued a lot of colors including mine

I can not tell you enough how much these have changed FOR THE WORSE! The coverage, the texture, the colors! These are AWFUL! I have used this for as long as it’s been out. BRING BACK THE OG!!!!

I have been using studio fix foundation for over 20 years, this one arrived I believed I ordered the wrong one - The product unfortunately fell out of its container and broke. The color I selected to match my skin now resembles a bronzer and has orange hues. Returned, looking for an alternative.
