Striped Bow-Belted Wide-Leg Trousers

I had high hopes for this pair, but unfortunately they did not work for me either. For reference, my hips are 39 inches and my waist is 30 inches. I ordered my regular size, but I was not even able to pull them on. The opening measured only about 34 inches, so I am not sure whether I received a defective pair or whether the sizing and construction were poorly designed. I have noticed a decline in quality in many products lately, even at Nordstrom, and it often feels like I have to move into the $400–$500 range to find something well-made. That is not realistic for many customers. I hope Nordstrom buyers pay closer attention to product quality, fit, and construction, especially for middle-aged women who want stylish, well-made clothing that does not feel overly trendy, poorly fitted, or financially out of reach.
