Best For New Walkers and Beyond
We absolutely love these shoes. We went in-store when our son started walking and had the most amazing consumer experience picking these out. They worked out so well for our son that we bought him a new pair once he outgrew them the first time. They are extremely easy to get on thanks to the flexibility throughout the shoe. They are neutral so they go with almost everything as well.

Velcro does not work
Velcro straps no longer would stick after less than a month of use. My son hasn’t worn them a lot either and just does not stay.

Cool walking shoes, great quality
The shoes I learned to walk in definitely weren't this cool. We bought these because of Stride Rite's great reputation with first walking shoes. And also because they look great with everything. These are super easy to get on and off and open up wide for her chunky foot. Looking for our next pair of Stride Rites as she's growing fast.

great first walkers
Been using these shoes for about 2 months with use increasing to everyday in the last month. The Velcro still sticks, which I was worried about based on other reviews but no problems yet. He has played in sand and dirt and we just brush the shoes off. The bottom is grippy and flexible enough. The color goes with everything. He’s got a wider foot too and this fits great.

Great shoe except for the small velcro section
Great young toddler/walker shoe except the velcro didn't last long. It only velcros on one small spot, so after a few weeks, it stopped sticking.
