First Time Use - Broken Rear Cross Pin
I bought the GCI Stowaway Rocker today and one of the rear cross pins broke the first time I used it. I didn’t know it broke when I was using it but didn’t totally feel right because the back & rear bottom of the chair was partially collapsing. When I got home, I inspected the chair closely and found a broken/bent pin - the one that holds the other side of the short carrying strap. I only weigh 201 lbs- way under the 300# limit. (See pictures)

More compact, easier to fold and transport
Easier to transport was my main reason for buying for my wife. Folds down smaller and does not have the annoying complications of folding like other GCI models. Also takes up less room in the back of vehicle or cart. Very comfortable at the ball fields. Has the hand hold strap or shoulder carry strap. Overall, so far more pleased with this model than some of the other GacI models we have.

Baseball Stowaway Rocker
I ordered the Baseball Stowaway Rocker and received it in a matter of a few days. As a Baseball Grammy, I love the design. It’s very sturdy but it’s also heavier than I expected…a little bit of a struggle for this Senior Citizen to carry around so…I’ll order a collapsible cart to haul our chairs and game goodies around in! ☺️
