Tripp Trapp® Baby Set

Had to update the 40 year old chair for grandchildren. Worked great! Got the tray an soft seat to make it look like new!

Overall I am very satisfied with this product it is very easy to put together and very sturdy, that is if your willing to spend $400. The baby seems to love eating in her highchair at the table. We did not purchase the tray, she eats right from the table. My only negative review on this product is everything is separate and has to be purchased, for example the cushion(40) the seat(70) and the tray (50). I went home and put the whole Highchair together not knowing that the seat needs to be purchased (there is no way around it) it’s support for the baby and realized I needed to purchase it before baby could use seat. The employees are not aware of what is needed for the seat so do your reaearch before.

This baby set fit our newer Tripp Trapp chair and I was quite surprised to discover that it also fit our older one (with a manufacture date of May 2006!!). Love this chair!! So simple, easy to move around and truly withstands the test of time. One thing I want to mention, as I feel some of the pictures and item name itself can be a little misleading, is that the baby set does NOT come with the straps/five point harness. Those come with the initial purchase of a new chair. (However, we don't even use the strap/harness.) Our 9 month old loves this chair because he can turn around and see what's behind him and he loves that his feet can rest firmly on the adjustable footrest. The baby set itself is very sturdy and supportive because the pieces are stiff and solid and not rubbery or flexible.

This works perfectly with the Tripp Trapp chair we were gifted as a hand-me-down from a friend. The chair is several years old, but the new baby set fits and works perfectly with it. Easy to clean and comfy for baby.

We picked up an older version of the Stokke chair second hand, and needed to get the baby seat. Because the chair is an older model, the center strap and the baby seat did not fit through the chair's slit. We took the center strap out and only use the strap around the waist, and it works perfectly to hold in our 9 month old, who likes to stand and sit in the chair. Baby also seems comfortable in the seat without the padding.

We got the hazy grey chair and could not be happier. Our baby has long legs, so the movable footrest was very persuasive in our decision. The you tube videos seem to highlight that the chair is great, but a few said it was hard to take the child in and out. We found that not to be the case even with out baby's long, mostly kicking legs. Also before we received the chair we were just a little worried about its stability because of the extensions that come with it, but the chair is super sturdy and we have no worries that any amount of baby arm movement or arching back in protest will tip the chair. Additionally, the efficient size and sleekness is perfect to a non-intrusive look to our dining room.
