TRAY DOES NOT SUCTION.
HUGE DESIGN FLAW!!! Wow, I've heard so many amazing things about this high chair but the fact that the tray does not suction toys/mats is a dealbreaker. Why isn't this more widely known about the Tripp Trapp set? I don't even understand how you could make a BABY item that won't allow things to be suctioned onto the top, HELLO!! Does this company even understand babies? Babies throw things. I place a baby toy on the tray and it's on the floor within seconds. I purchased a few items to try to keep the toys tethered to the tray but since it does not hold a suction, the items are useless. So irritating and disappointing. I am sure Stokke doesn't care because they're still selling plenty of high chairs but I will think twice about purchasing Stokke items in the future and will not be recommending it to my friends.

A love hate relationship
I have a love hate relationship with the Stokke Trip Trap tray. The fact this tray fits on the chair is a great selling point. But that’s the only selling point. As far as trays goes, it is disappointing because 1) it lacks a cup holder and 2) it’s non-smooth surface is incompatible with suction plates, toys, cups and other things that will stick on typical high chair trains.

it is a tray
This tray fits and is easy to take on and off. I bought a used Stokke chair from Craigs list, and I wish I hadn't. Even though I got the chair for cheaper, the accessories are way over priced, but I guess that is how they suck you in. Well, if you are reading this, you got sucked in too, so just buy it.

Good tray, flimsy clip
This tray worked great until we had to take it off to clean it. The tiny clip at the center of the tray was hard to see and not marked so it wasn't clear that there was a release in the center. Long story shirt, we attempted to lift and it snapped in to three pieces. We had pressed on it and it flexed so little that it didn't seem like it was a mechanism so when it broke, it was pretty frustrating. The tray still rests ok without it in tact but it feels like it could have been designed better.

Would have been nice
We bought this tray to go with our baby set stokke high chair, however it is very specifically only able to be used with the new model of the baby set on the stokke tripp trapp. We bought ours in 2011, so it is not compatible. Unfortunately we had to return it because we are not going to purchase the newer version of the baby set that it is compatible with since we already have one. It would have been nice to use, but we will just have to have him at the table with the chair. It just limits our mobility if we want to be in a different room. We recommend the chair. But unless you don't want to put the chair at the table, you don't really need this attachment.
