Steps^™ Chair

I purchased this Stokke Steps chair for my six year old grandson as a study chair for remote learning when he's at my house. He can pull it up to a regular height desk and work comfortably with his feet firmly on the footrest. It was so beautiful and so perfect in my home that I decided to get a second for my three year old granddaughter to replace an earlier (but still perfect) Stokke Tripp Trapp chair I had. So now I have two matching chairs. They are gorgeous They are super solid. but light enough to easy move around. They were simple to assemble. I particularly love how easy it is to raise and lower the footrest without using an Allen wrench. And, bonus, I can use the chair too!

My child has used this since 1.5 years old and will continue to use it until at least 6. The seat is at a perfect height, the foot panel is adjustable, and the kiddos can easily climb and get off the chair without help. The only grip is the white seat stains very easily, some of the stains cannot be wiped away (berries and sauces) unless done so immediately. This chair will pass to my second baby and has the lasting quality to keep going for quite a while.

I got this in walnut to match our dining furniture. It was simple to put together. It came with the tools necessary and I did it by myself while watching my 5mo baby. I like it. It's nice to have a high chair that will grow with baby. I am happy and recommend. I also purchase the seat so that my baby can sit on and the tray. I shopped around a lot for high chairs and was almost going to purchase the tripp trapp but I really like the style and the benefits of this chair more and I'm happy I went with it. I also looked at the o x o which is very similar -- but ended up finding that this would be a better quality for me. It was hard to decide on color -- since I wanted it to match our furniture, but at the same time I like the natural color as well. As it seems more airy but i'm happy with the walnut. It's a really nice dark color.

I went back and forth on spending the money, but after weeks of research, this was the best choice. She will grow with the chair and it is easy to adjust, clean and put together. It matches our decor and is not an eyesore like most high chairs. It comes with an adjustable foot rest which is important to creating a healthy eating posture.
