Osiris Lace Maxi Dress

Saw this in a number of online video reviews and it was so flattering on multiple body types that I had to buy in all 3 colors. The reviews were deceiving as it was down to the floor (I'm 5'4") and the lace didn't look rich at all (and was a little scratchy) although the style is very flattering. If between sizes I would size down.

I agree with a previous review: the length of the lace overlay is longer. I am about 5’7 and it comes down to my ankles, not above as shown in the photo. There is a nice elegance to the dress and I love the tie waist. I just need to get used to the length. If you are not interested in floor length you may want to skip it. Otherwise, pair with wedges or heels and it is fine.

Bought black and dark toffee during the NSale and pleasantly surprised with both. I feel like it can be dressed up with wedges, jewelry and handbag for a night out or jean jacket, sneakers and tote for a day on the town or travel. I am 5'5 and it is long but not in need of hemming. Is is the most luxurious lace? no. But does it bother me? not at all. I usually picky with textures but I think the underlayer helps a lot and have no issues wearing it. Is is flattering and versatile.

Words simply do not do this dress justice. It is absolutely beautiful! I did have to size down one size for a proper fit. The lace is decently soft and the dark toffee is a gorgeous rich brown. With me at 5'2", this just grazes the ground. If I wear heels, I won't need to shorten it. If I decide to wear it with flats, I will have to have the lace hemmed up 1" or so. It looked amazing with several different types of shoes, making it very versatile. I'm in love!

I ended up sizing down in this dress to an x-small; however, you don't have to if you want it to be a looser fit. The small fit OK, but I preferred it to look more tailored (like on the model in the photo) since I am shorter and it is a longer maxi dress. I found the lace to be really pretty and didn't think it looked low-quality at all. I also thought the length of the dress was perfectly fine, and I am short. I think it's a great find for dressing up or down and that it can be worn for many seasons given the color and material.
