Wells Stretch Cotton Poplin Midi Fit & Flare Dress

I matched my measurements to the size chart but it was a little bigger in the bust and shoulders than I’d have liked. I wore this for my elopement in the forest, but I’d like to reorder in a size down to wear at the reception at a later date.

I really wanted to love this. The fabric is lovely and cottony. Perfect for spring. But ultimately the abundance of material in the skirt made me look a little bigger than I really am, and I didn't love the square shape around the bustline. For reference I am 5'6" 140lb hourglass shape and it just wasn't super flattering on me. I think for someone taller and leaner it would look more like it does on the model.

I followed the measurements for the bust and got a perfectly fitting dress that is so flattering. It makes me look slimmer. I have this problem with other brands too though… it’s too long at the “straps” so I’ll need to get that tailored and shortened for some material to be removed there. I’m 5 ft with narrow shoulders so not super unusual. I want to order this in more colors!

Gorgeous dress but very small on the bust. I am usually a 4/6, has to buy an 8 due to the bust.

This dress is stunning. The sizing is a little weird as I'm only 5'2" so it came down to my ankles and the bust is definitely made for women with a smaller chest. I am a 34DDD and 140lb and it was very snug in the bust but was a little loose in the ribs and waist. The straps were also super long so I did take those in and added cups into it since I didn't have any extra room to fit a bra. Overall it was beautiful though and made me feel amazing. Looked amazing with some classic high black suede peeptoe pumps and a classic clutch. A timeless dress and beautifully made!
