Almond Pop-On Reusable Manicure Set

I’m really not sure what the previous reviewer was trying to achieve with these nails but they certainly should never hurt ?! So weird. So I wanted to come to the defense of @staticnails and let potential future purchasers know that they DO NOT HURT? ! Weirdest thing I ever read about press ons. I’ve used quite a few different brands out there today and I will say from a packaging standpoint- Static does it best- super classy w/ their packaging and makes it feel like it’s worth the $15+ for the set. The colors and finishes also don’t chip with Static and stay looking pristine throughout wear. My ONLY hang up with Static (hence 4 stars not 5) is that I had to go through a few applications to “get it right” and I’m not sure if it’s their glue that comes included with each set or if it’s something in the nail composition - but typically - with other brands, I cleanse my nails, push back cuticles, buff slightly (to increase ability to adhere) apply glue, apply nails, count to 3 while holding down nail to “real” nail bed to get the glue to adhere and wallah! With Static nails - I have learned the hard way that I need to count to 10 while holding down each nail to adhere to my real nail bed. Again, it’s not a huge deal but I did go through a few sets while learning this, which was a waste of $ and slightly aggravating, but the last few times I’ve used them and done the count to 10 Vs. Count to 3 like I do with every other brand - it seems to do the trick !! And I almost didn’t repurchase this brand of press ons after a few failed attempts and wasted sets - but I will say, what brought me back were the finishes - something about Statics’ press on nails is just so much more LUXE looking than competitive brands, so I ended up trying them again and am now happy I did. You should get 2 sets out of each package - but wish static would include more bigger middle finger or thumb sized options for a user to get a second set out of rather than filling up the package with a slew of pinky sized nails! Please take note of that, Static! Also- I don’t reuse them.. I get a weeks worth of wear out of them typically and toss, then hopefully have the appropriate sizes remaining to get a fresh second set out of the pack. That’s a lot of information but wanted to provide some insight as to the previous review and in my experience, it’s completely crazy that these press on nails somehow provided bodily harm to someone and also wanted to share my own personal experience! Thanks @Nordstrom for staying innovative and bringing in on trend items like this! Please keep doing so and I will keep buying ! $$$

These are the best press on nails I’ve ever tried! I used to get my nails done all the time but with the pandemic, working from home and barely seeing anyone, I don’t really feel the need to have my nails done 24/7. For my job I occasionally do videos and training so I bought these to try. They definitely exceeded my expectations and I’ve used 5 sets now. Keep in mind, it’s not like going to the salon, if you expect salon quality with any press on you’ll be disappointed. But I have found there’s benefit to skipping the salon sometimes. They last roughly about a week depending on the care you take when applying. My favorite part so far has been that if one pops off you can easily just reapply (carry your nail glue with you just in case!) No more having to wait to physically go to the salon, you can just fix on your own instead of walking around with a broken nail. I found they are also super easy to remove when you’re ready and don’t damage your nail. The only negative I guess you could say, is that there are a lot of nails wasted (the ones that don’t fit you) I wish there was an option for repeat customers to select their sizes and only order what they need instead of having to order the full pack every time-seems like a lot of wasted plastic. That would be the only deterrent to continual purchasing for me, everything else has been great!

So I bought these nails because after watching countless reviews on YouTube and reading the ones of this website, I was like, the risk is low and I really have nothing to lose except $14. I bought the caviar color and they were very elegant. If you properly prep your nails, they will look seamless on your nail beds. However, they’re not durable. I applied enough glue to have an extended wear and I had 4 nails pop off within hours. I gave up because I couldn’t have a nail popping off at an inconvenient time so I took them all off. These are better quality than any other press on nails I’ve used but I’m not entirely sold on their durability and that’s why I give it two stars. If you can find a way to make them last longer, these are beautiful nails but as for me, I will not be purchasing these again.

I've been getting ads on Instagram for these nails for a VERY long time. I normally get pop on nails from Target for a fraction of the cost and they never fail me. I finally gave in to these for a trip & I'll never get them again! 1. They are hard to put on. The shape of the nail is so curved that when you press them on your nail, you have to push extra hard just for the nail to actually stick to your nail. 2. You can see the glue through the nail. I got the mademoiselle color which is a very pretty ombre light pink. Directions say to put glue on the nail and on the base of your nail. No matter how much glue you use, you can see the squished liquid shape through the nail when you're done. Very ugly. 3. Horrible glue. When you get glue on the nail and wipe it off, it STILL stays on and then ruins the look and texture of the nail. 4. They HURT! Because of the deep curvature of the nail, it's like it's trying so hard to get back to the curve after you put them on, like it's trying to peel off of your nail after you glue it on, it freaking HURTS. The pain subsided after a couple days. I tried to take them off asap and godddd they're just the worst nails ever. It was super disappointing because they are cute and I thought they'd be really nice considering the price. Glad I got to try them after seeing the ads for so long but I'm definitely sticking to my Target nails!

Honestly these are amazing, with the pandemic I’ve found that I don’t feel entirely comfortable going to nail salons that have been frequently closed due to Covid. I love having my nails done and this is my quick and easy fix. I’m familiar with press-ons and these are by far the easiest to apply! There are 12 different sizes, measure each one first to make sure you always use the same size. The glue is very quick to dry, if you’re not familiar or unsure, practice applying without glue so you know what to expect. If you make a mistake, quickly try to remove it before it sets or soak your nail in warm, almost hot water with a little soap. I have received so many compliments on how natural they look.
