Stand Collar Sweater

I’m a size 10-12, 5’4” and short waisted. I chose the L because I want some room this winter to layer shirts or t-necks underneath. If I use a silk t-shirt, it’s heavy enough even in our brutal winters as a stand alone without a jacket. Add a warm scarf for sure. Not restricting, the collar is so attractive. For my height it lands just below the waist and lays on my hip just right. My only reason for four stars is I can see it will have to be washed carefully to avoid pilling perhaps or loose threads. It’s not expensive so don’t expect flawlessness but if you’re looking for a warm, stylish, updated black staple for winter casual, this is it.

Saw this on a blogger and immediately wanted it! This sweater is awesome for the price. It’s so warm and cozy. The collar looks cool popped or flat. The cream color has a marbled effect, with different grayish/tan flecks in the yarn, which I love. This sweater will most likely be prone to pilling, but nothing my sweater stone can’t handle. I’m going to order in black too! Ordered my usual Medium and roomy enough to layer. Topshop sweaters never fail!
