Stainless Steel Mixing Bowl Set

I was really excited to see these, as I’ve been shopping for a new set of stainless steel mixing bowls and love the convenience of having matching lids for storage. There are two things that ultimately kept me from purchasing them, though. First, I’d really like Le Creuset to specify the stainless steel composition. Are these 18/10, 18/8, 18/0, or something else? For a set at this price point, that’s an important detail when comparing durability, corrosion resistance, and overall quality. When the grade isn’t disclosed, it makes it much harder to evaluate how these compare with other stainless steel bowls on the market. Second, 5 quarts is simply too small to be the largest bowl available. I understand offering a core set of 1.5-, 3-, and 5- or 6-quart bowls, but the sizes I reach for most often are closer to 8 or 9 quarts, and I would ideally also like to have 11 or 12 quarts for larger batches. I’d love to see Le Creuset offer additional larger bowls that coordinate with this set, even if they’re sold separately.

AWESOME very nice to use look great in the kitchen

Well-made and very sturdy bowls. I appreciate that there’s no plastic on the bowl or lid. There is even a silicone bottom on the bowl to prevent it from slipping on the counter. Silicone and glass lids seal very well on the bowls.

I love theses bowls and lids! There is so many different uses for these in the kitchen, they’re super handy!
